Coir logs are cylindrical biodegradable erosion control products made from densely compressed coconut fiber enclosed in coir mesh netting. They are installed along stream banks, shorelines, slopes, and channel edges. Their purpose is to intercept sediment and reduce flow velocity. They also offer a stable environment for vegetation re-establishment.

Installation:
Coir logs are staked into position along the contour of slopes or at the bank edge. They intercept storm water runoff and reduce its velocity.
